+ How do I book an appointment?

  • Piercing - Please call or email the shop. We are typically available the same day.
  • Tattoos - Please fill out the contact form and we will be in touch as soon as possible. Response time depends on artist availability and tattoo specifications.

+ Can I bring guests to my appointment?

Guests are not permitted at any time.

+ Is a deposit required to schedule an appointment?

Yes. Price depends on artist and tattoo specifications.

+ What is the most convenient way to get to the studio?

DRIVING

There is street parking available which you can pay through the ParkMobile app on any smartphone or Garage parking five minutes away walking at 2328 Champlain St. NW Washington D.C. 20009.

METRO

Take the Red Line to the Woodley Park/Adams Morgan Metro Station. Then, it’s only a 10-minute walk across the historic Duke Ellington Bridge. For more information, visit www.wmata.com.

BUS

Take the Circulator Bus from the Woodley Park/Adams Morgan Metro Station or take it to the Columbia Heights Metro Station. The Circulator runs every 10 to 12 minutes; hours are until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 3:30 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. The Circulator costs $1.00. + Do you specialize in coverups?

Yes! Using Tatt2Away, we can handle coverups of most sizes and shapes.

+ How do I care for my new tattoo?

  • Remove bandage after 1-4 hrs and gently wash with UNSCENTED liquid anti-bacterial soap and hot water.
  • Pat dry and apply a THIN layer of tattoo ointment. Repeat 3-4 times a day for the next 2-3 days.
  • After 2-3 days, switch to UNSCENTED lotion and use 4-5 times a day until tattoo is healed.
  • Do NOT submerge your tattoo under water (ex:pools, oceans, baths, hot tubs, etc.) as well as avoid direct sunlight (no tanning) for the next 2-3 weeks. Do NOT pick, scratch, or peel your tattoo.

+ How do I care for my new piercing?

  • Clean your piercing twice daily.
  • Do not use alcohol or peroxide - We sell H2Ocean at the front OR use 1 gallon distilled water with 3tsp non-iodized salt.
  • Healing generally takes 2-6 months.
  • For oral piercings: rinse mouth with alcohol-free mouthwash or saline solution for 30 seconds 4-5 times per day.
